our problem

Pollock's Toy Museum Trust was formed in 1969 provide charitable status for Pollock’s Toy Museum and receive donations of objects and funds. It was the leaseholder of the buildings in London, and employer of the staff. This arrangement ceased with the end of the lease in 2004, and the museum and its shop have continued to open without the participation of the Trust. The Trustees are responsible for a substantial part of the objects on display at the museum, and are pursuing plans to provide a future for its portion of the collection as an independent educational resource.

Please note: Another shop in London, Benjamin Pollock’s Toyshop at 44 Covent Garden Market, is a separate business from the shop at the museum site, selling a range of nostalgic and unusual toys and games, including toy theatres.
